Soul Train (opening animated train) 1971
i never had cable growing up, so on Saturday afternoon, after i had burned through The Littles and an ABC weekend special (ie. COUGAR! -no one remembers this movie except my friend Jamie), I’d sit and watch people strut & shake their shit on Soul Train. and of course everyone’s favorite part, THE SOUL TRAIN LINE:
Thank you, Don. “As always in parting, we wish you love, peace and soul!”
i’ll make sure to do a little shuffle down the hall for you today.
