I have the coolest wife in the world who totally supports my geeky habits! A childhood dream of mine has finally been realized! It’s been about a year in the making but my “GARCADE” (Garage+Arcade) is finally finished! I could not be happier with the end result!

Growing up in the 80’s nothing was cooler than the arcade. I know it may seem silly to some seeing as how I could easily run all of these games on my iphone but just seeing these cabs all lit up and hearing the crackle of the speakers when the fire up gives me chills. I suppose you really had to grow up with them to appreciate it.

My crown jewel is Discs of Tron…. This game absolutely captivated me as a kid and still does to this day.

For anyone whos curious my good friend Ben Tsui who’s an awesome photographer and who I’ve known since the 7th grade took these pictures. he’s also got a tumblr account where he posts his work. But be warned some of the images are fashion photos and contain some nudity. So if you do not like that sort of thing you’ve been warned.
